The piece includes two audio channels which play the same content, each in a different language, based on my own bilingual social media feed. The piece illustrates the state of being inside one’s head while progressing along the timeline between migration and assimilation, a confusing gap between internal clarity and communication abilities.
The audio piece was created for Materiality: an exhibition of digital materiality in 2015, curated by Tom O’Dea.
