FAT

FAT was performed on stage at the Dublin Fringe Festival by Talking Shop Ensemble on September 2010, Directed by Oonagh Murphy.

FAT is being, watching, and being watched. Talking Shop are trying to see if they can even make theatre about FAT. And they want you to watch them as they try. FAT is written and performed by Talking Shop Ensemble. FAT deals in satire and irony, dissecting such modern phenomena as celebrity culture, make-over t.v. shows and social networking. The show is an hour-long trip complete with music and dance. The company offer us a unique, articulate and pointed snapshot of identity in the age of the image and mass media hyper-activity.
