'Act I: (AleX) Is' is a digital application which mixes famous political speeches through an automatic cut-up machine to be played through headphones to an individual. The individual then types the content of the cut-up outputs, not correcting typing errors or unclear words. The typed text is then played using a Text To Speech system, reading it with an automated voice.

This piece was developed as part of my practice-led Phd research, this video gives a bit of background leading to the creation of the project
